Do inline and quad skates both work?

Yes. Any recorded skate works, inline or quad, as long as it has a GPS track. A flat skate with little climb prints the distance and time without an elevation figure.

Do I have to export a GPX file?

No export needed. Connect your Strava account and pick the skate, and we pull the track for you. If you would rather, you can upload a GPX file instead.
