Terms of service

You Went There sells made-to-order map posters and digital map files.

The preview. You design your poster in a live preview that is exactly what we print, so what you approve on screen is what you receive. Printing starts after you order.

Your route data. GPX files, stops and titles you supply are used to produce your order and for nothing else.

Map data. Posters are drawn from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, licensed under the ODbL. That credit is shown on each product page; nothing is printed on the poster itself.

Digital files. Licensed for your personal printing and display. Not for resale or redistribution.

Prices are in AUD. Shipping terms are in the shipping policy; returns in the refund policy.

Third-party services. Parts of the service run on providers we do not control: Strava, when you choose to connect your account to import an activity; our print and shipping partner; and the map data and hosting providers we draw on. Those providers supply their part as is. On their behalf we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and they are not liable to you for any consequential, special, punitive or indirect damages arising from your use of the service. This does not limit your rights against You Went There under the Australian Consumer Law.
